About Me
My name is Tomáš Naňák, and I’ve been working with wood for over 14 years.
Wood carving is more than just a job for me – it’s a way to give wood a second life. I specialize in handcrafting wooden sculptures and traditional devil masks, working mainly with oak and linden – woods known for their character, strength, and beauty.
I studied at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Luhačovice, and since then, woodworking has been my full-time passion. You can often meet me and see my creations in person at folk and craft festivals such as Valašské kumštování in Valašské Klobouky, Liptálské slavnosti in Liptál, or the Devil Mask Showcase at the Valašský Mikulášský jarmek.

Each mask and sculpture is made by hand – no molds, no shortcuts. I create wooden devil masks inspired by local folklore, as well as original wooden sculptures made to order. Every piece is one of a kind and tells its own story.
